How will you know where everything goes?
At Dependable Packers LLC, our team are professionals and have packed, unpacked and organized numerous households. Before your move, we will discuss all the specifics for your packing day. We will develop a plan of action and an outline for your new home.

Absolutely! Whether you choose a full-packing service or a partial service, moving is still extremely stressful
Below we have included a few tips to help you pack safely and efficiently.
- Avoid loading more than 50 pounds into one box.
- Purchase a variety of sizes for different items around the home.
- Get the right supplies. Boxes, bubble wrap, tape, markers, scissors, etc.
- Use strong, securable boxes and containers.
- If you can, pack any AV equipment into its original box. Label your cables and tighten screws before moving.
- Label each box with information on where it should go if it contains fragile items and its loading order.
- Cushion contents with bubble wrap or even towels and blankets.
- Pack your books tightly in small boxes.
- Pack any medicines in leak proof containers.
- Clean your rugs and draperies before you move and keep them in their cleaning wrappings.
- Carry all valuables with you. Don’t pack them.
- Set aside prohibited materials if your move is out of state. If your move is local, these materials can be packed.
- Do not leave empty space in your boxes. Stuff them with packing paper or bubble wrap.
- Seal your boxes on the top and the bottom.
What items cannot be packed?
Dependable Packers LLC wants your belongings to arrive at your new home safely. That means not moving certain items. Aerosol cans and hazardous materials are unsafe for transportation on any moving van.
How should I move my jewelry other valuable items?
Dependable Packers LLC recommends you do not pack or ship your fine jewelry, precious metals, important papers (titles, tax forms, bank books, deeds, etc.), medical and dental records, prescriptions, coins, currency, stock certificates, notes or bonds. These items should be carried with you during your move.
Is Dependable Packers LLC fully insured?
We are fully insured which means that in the unlikely event that one of our packers are injured while working in your home, you are not responsible in any way. All your belongings are also insured for your peace of mind.
How are packing services billed?
Our packing services are billed by the hour and customer will receive invoice after the project is complete.
Is tipping acceptable?
It is appreciated but not mandatory. Like any other service-oriented business, tipping is a way for a customer to show their appreciation for the hard work and exceptional service provided by their packing crew.
